Catfish Classic ALS Golf Tournament November 2019

Nicole Treadwell |

We all participated in this year’s Catfish Classic Golf Tournament on November 4th, to help raise money and awareness for the NC ALS Chapter.  ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord.  ALS typically strikes people between the ages of 40 and 70, and at least 16,000 Americans can have the disease at any given time (although this number fluctuates). For unknown reasons, military veterans are approximately twice as likely to be diagnosed with the disease as the general public.

Nicole has volunteered with the NC ALS association since 2009.  Please reach out to her at 919-876-4926 or nicole@ffgplanning.com if you are interested in learning more or to volunteer.
